Suitable for: Beginner to Intermediate
Instructors: Brett Dorron.

Join me for one of my hugely successful photowalks through the streets, arcades and back alleys of the beautiful, historic, and eclectic Abbotsford. The focus will be light. Available and ambient light, specifically, and primarily in regard to portraiture. Flash and strobes are banned (if caught you will be egged and sent home in disgrace). Learn how to see, use and understand the light that is naturally and abundantly available to us all in our everyday urban environments.

What is natural or available light? Where does it come from? What do you look for and how do you see it? What affects it and how is it influenced? We’ll look at the effects of natural and man-made structures. Directional verses diffuse. Harsh verses soft.
